Incoloy alloy A-286 is an age-hardenable Iron-Nickel-Chromium alloy is designed for applications requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance.
Incoloy A286 is a Fe-25Ni-15Cr based high-temperature alloy, adding titanium, molybdenum, aluminum, boron, and vanadium. It is precipitation hardenable for high mechanical properties. The alloy maintains good strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to about 1300°F (700°C). The alloy’s high strength and excellent fabrication characteristics make it useful for various components of aircraft and industrial gas turbines.
Incoloy A286 Application included Jet engine nacelles, afterburners, furnaces, aircraft components like sockets, casing, blades, wheels, and frames.
