ERCuSn-A Phosphor Bronze Welding Wire APPLICATION
ERCuSn-A Phos Bronze A is a copper-zinc bronze containing approximately 5% tin and up to 0.35% phosphorus added as a deoxidizer used to weld bronze and brass. It can also be used to weld copper material if the presence of tin in the weld metal is not objectionable, for example copper and tin bronzes, especially used for joining of copper-zinc alloys and steels.
ERCuSn-A is also suitable for repair welding of cast bronze products. For large workpieces preheating is recommended. For multi-layer welding on steel, pulsed arc welding is recommended-also appropriate for oven soldering.
