E308L-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode
E308L-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Introduction
E308L-16 was developed for welding 304L. This electrode deposits a maximum of 0.04% carbon in the weld metal. This welding electrode is used extensively for welding of chemical plant equipment and may be used successfully for welding types 321 and 347 steel grades. This welding rod minimizes the formation of chromium carbides in the weld metal.
E308L-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Application
E308L-16 welding electrode is used Used for welding ultra-low-carbon stainless steel structures such as 00Cr19Ni9, 0Cr18Ni10Ti etc. with good impact toughness under -196℃ and suitable for welding LNG tanks and pipelines.
ATTENTION:
1.The welding electrode must be preheated at the temperature of 300°C for 1 hour. Preheat the rod whenever it is used
2.Preferred DC power supply, electric current should not be high.
Packing: In cartons of 20kgs net each, consisting of 8boxes x 2. 5kgs for size 2. 5mm and 4boxes×5kgs for other sizes.
