E308-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Introduction
E308-16 stainless steel welding electrode is a kind of Titanium calcium type coating Cr19Ni10 stainless steel electrode. The deposited metal has good mechanical properties and intergranular corrosion resistance. It has good welding performance and porosity resistance. Heat resistance coating and crack resistance. AC/DC both can be applied.
E308-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Application
E308-16 welding electrode is used for welding the corrosion resistant stainless steel structure, such as 06Cr19Ni10 and 06Cr18Ni11Ti and their working temperature should be below 300℃.
Stainless Steel Electrode AWS E308-16, welding of 0Cr18Ni9 and Cr8NiTi stainless steels and working temperature is below 300℃. The deposited metal (19Cr-9Ni) is austenite tissue, with good mechanical properties and resistance to intergranular corrosion properties.
E308-16 is designed for welding of the following 18-8 stainless steel types: 301, 302, 304 and 308. The weld deposit has the proper chemical content and balance for satisfactory welding of type 308 and therefore is suitable for welding 18-8 types of lower alloy content. Sound weld metal and corrosion resistance equal to or greater than that of the parent metal is assured.
ATTENTION:
1.The welding electrode must be preheated at the temperature of 300°C for 1 hour. Preheat the rod whenever it is used
2.Preferred DC power supply, electric current should not be high.
Packing: In cartons of 20kgs net each, consisting of 8boxes x 2. 5kgs for size 2. 5mm and 4boxes×5kgs for other sizes.
