E308H-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode
E308H-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Introduction
E308H-16 stainless steel welding electrode is an electrode specially designed for producing 19Cr-10Ni weld deposit with carbon 0.04- 0.08%, weld metal is resistant to crack and exhibits excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperature. The weld produced are of radiographic quality with smooth bead finish.
E308H-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Application
E308H-16 is used to weld un-stabilized austenitic stainless steels such as 302, 304 and 305. It provides greater corrosion resistance than the base metals on which they are applied.
It is suitable for joining AISI 304H material used in high temperature applications (730°C), ideally suitable for joining 18/8 SS consisting of higher carbon percentage, Chemical, petrochemical and refinery equipments.
ATTENTION:Re-Dry the electrode at 250°C for 1 hour before use.
